Do you all live in some sort of movie theater hell dimension?

Every time someone on this sub mentions going to the movie theater everyone chimes in about how awful the theater/experience is. People often seem to post about how every theater guest is always on their phone, talking full volume, and throwing popcorn through the air. I go to the movies about twice a week and almost never have a terrible experience. Am I just living in the greatest twilight zone episode ever?

Edit: Many people in this thread are asking where I see movies. I see all my movies in Philadelphia or the suburbs surrounding.
