PIL to prohibit BCCI from representing India

​​Admitting the plea by petitioner Geeta Rani, the Madras HC ordered private notice to BCCI and the central government returnable by Feb 7. The primary contention of the petitioner is that being a private society, BCCI cannot represent India in international cricket or govern the game in the country without any official permission from the government.
