The new Smash Bros DLC is really fair. All DLC is only starting to be worked on after launch (as it should be). The only exception to this is Piranha Plant, which is given as a free offer if you preorder as a compromise. They even brought up how the Fighter's Pack doesn't release details of the content (and how that can be seen as shady), and they asked that only those who are confident in its value should pay for it. Even though they are charging 5.99 per pack, they are going out of their way to conduct fair business practices.
