LPT: Don't attend an expensive private university if you have to pay for it entirely with loans. DON'T! Aim for state schools. Or attend community college for 2 years and then try to get into some place affordable. But DON'T take out a mortgage for a bachelor's. It will hold you back for years.

And don't let anybody pressure you into going to some big name school that costs a fortune, even if the person applying the pressure is your mom or dad.
